Every Thursday: Literature Search

ABOUT: Learn how to search for articles and how to use reference management software when writing scientific papers.
Based on your subject we’ll use search techniques and relevant databases to find some relevant articles. The references to these articles we’ll handle with a reference management program.
I can give you an introduction to one of the following reference management software, i.e. EndNote, Reference Manager, Refworks or Mendeley.
We will import some references into the reference management program and in a document you write in Word use these references to be inserted into in-text citations and into a literature list, using a cite and write techniques in the reference management software.

I will offer you an individual guidance in literature search of approx. 1.5 hour’s duration. The offer also applies to smaller groups and is free.
The library session will take place at the DFC Library at Thursdays from either 1 to 2:30 p.m. or from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
